Founding of the company in in Nuremberg; Mr. Huber concentrated on diamond-tipped tools for dressing grinding wheels and accessories for wire and sinker EDM machines.

Sale of diamond-tipped tools and accessories in the Nuremberg/Fürth metropolitan area. Expansion of the accessories department for electrical discharge machining. Concentration on quality products in the areas of wires, filters and resins.

Since the beginning of the 1980s, initial contacts with machinery sales through occasional sale of Japax wire, sinker and start hole EDM machines in cooperation with the company WDS.

Occasional selling of machines in addition to the primary business focus on accessories for electrical discharge machining. Sale of Hirschmann clamping system components added.

Daniel Bayer joins the company. Expansion of customer contacts beyond the original Nuremberg/Fürth/Erlangen region and over the then-borders of the area of activity. Definition and subsequent expansion of the Huber service concept. Introduction of additional quality products to complement the assortment of EDM accessories.

Occasional selling of Castek start hole EDM machines in cooperation with the importer at that time.

Acquisition of the rights to import Castek start hole EDM machines by Mr. Peter Huber.

Purchase of the EDM accessories business from Peter Huber by Daniel Bayer. Intensification and expansion of the customer-oriented service concept of the Huber company as well as further intensification of sales of all manner of quality products in the field of accessories for electrical discharge machining and mouldmaking.

Purchase of the wire sales business from Peter Huber by Daniel Bayer.

Expansion of warehouse capacity by moving to a company building in the Georg-Benda-Strasse in Fürth.

Start of cooperation with the company Ocean Technologies in the field of start hole EDM machines. The Huber company assumes responsibility for sales and technical assistance.

Expansion of the product range in the field of media blasting technology through cooperation with manufacturers located in Germany. Sales of used wire and sinker EDM machines.

Authorized dealer for Berkenhoff premium wires in the sales territory of Bavaria, Saxony and Thuringia.

Introduction of quality management to DIN ISO 9001:2000; expansion of existing building in the Georg-Benda-Strasse to create more space for machinery exhibition and offices.

Planning of a new company building starts, since no further expansion capacity is available in the Georg-Benda-Strasse.

Acquisition of the German representation rights for the Swiss sandblasting equipment manufacturer Sablux.

First-ever presentation of the "River 600" start hole EDM machine at the EMO in Milan, developed and built by Ocean at the suggestion and in cooperation with Huber.
Introduction of the start hole EDM machine model OCT 8060 in portal design, combining very large traverse strokes and maximum precision for machining large/high workpieces. Expansion of the company's own dealer and cooperation partner network

In cooperation with Ocean, sale of start hole EDM machine model OCT 90120 with a 250-kg rotary/swivel table; 6-axis control; electrode changer for 700-mm electrodes and aut. electrode precision dressing unit weighing 8 tons to a partially state-owned company in the French aerospace industry.

Successful introduction of Berkenhoff MegaCur plus and MegaCut pro EDM wires.
Set-up/commissioning of the start hole EDM machine model OCT 6040 CA with 6- axis control; 700-mm electrode changer, rotary/swivel table and lowerable work basin at a well-known hardmetal tool manufacture.

Successful extension of quality management certification to ISO 9001/2008 with and outside maintenance audit by TÜV Rhineland.
Expansion of the sandblasting equipment range in the area of high-precision and glass bead blasting systems through addition of the brand Xintech/Switzerland.
Purchase of property for company in Fürth/Atzenhof

Addition of staff to strengthen/expand the service offering in the EDM accessories field as well as machinery sales.
Establishment of the company's own telemarketing centre
Representation rights for EXCETEK wire EDM machines in Germany as well as set-up and commissioning of the first machines at customers.

Expansion and intensification of cooperation with Excetek. Delivery and set-up of the first large wire EDM machine as well as a special wire EDM machine for processing circular workpieces.
Expansion of sales and service activities for Ocean start hole EDM machines in Europe.
Start of construction in Atzenhof

Acquisition of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary as sales territories for Excetek wire EDM machines.
Initial discussions with the Joen Lih company in order to continue supplying high-quality surface grinding machines. Acquisition of representation rights for Germany, Austria, Hungary.

Moved to the new company building in Gustav-Weisskopf-Strasse 11 in February.
Sale of wire EDM machine with cutting height of Z 1000 mm.

Additional items to complement new products in the accessories area provide a greatly expanded range from which to chose - all with the quality expected from HUBER.

Market launch of laser deposition welding machines. Customer can now receive professional advice and attend demonstrations in our own demonstration centre.

Expansion of our sales network for start hole EDM to Central Europe.
HUBER is now also represented in the Czech Republic. By establishing its own subsidiary, HUBER s.r.o., we can now provide fast, focussed and professional response to the noticeably increasing demand for machines, accessories and service in this market.
